The challenge

This digital agency already offered their clients a full spread of services, from ABM to sales enablement, and ran them well. They understood SEO, and so did their clients, but they didn’t have that depth in-house, so they needed a partner who could come in at their level and own the SEO side properly. That made it a sophisticated brief: we weren’t explaining the basics to anyone, we were working senior-to-senior with a smart team. They also had a very specific way of working we needed to fit into, and were investing across a lot of channels at once, so the SEO budget had to work hard and every bit of it had to count.

The work

Because both the agency and their clients understood SEO, we could jump straight to the senior work rather than start from first principles. We delivered white-label SEO across a number of their SaaS and ecommerce clients, whose own customers are spread all over the world, working to the agency’s processes and standards so that, to their clients, it was simply the agency delivering. With a budget stretched across several channels, we stayed focused on the work that would genuinely move the needle rather than anything that just looked busy.

The results

The agency could offer its clients senior, specialist SEO alongside everything else it did well, without needing to build that expertise in-house, and to the high standard it and its clients expect.
